Why a teaching site about risk, and why this one
Search “risk management for traders” and most of the top results tuck a single tip inside a pitch for a course or a room. This page does the reverse: it teaches the discipline in full before it names anything, on the principle that a pointer you have not first earned the right to give carries no weight.
What we are trying to do
Risk management is the least glamorous and most important subject in trading, which is exactly why it is taught so badly: it does not sell as well as a winning system. The goal here is narrow and useful — to explain, in language a beginner can follow, how a trader actually engineers survival, so you can tell real risk discipline from a slogan about “cutting your losers.”
We do not run a brokerage, a signals channel or a fund of our own. Nothing on the site is for sale, and we earn no commission on anything we name. When we send you toward a measured system, that is a judgement about whether its risk claims survive checking — it is neither a bought slot nor a forecast of profit.

The measured system we point to

For what it is worth, the person behind it read for a Master in Applied Financial Economics at Oxford’s Said Business School and sat a quantitative GMAT in the 100th percentile; but credentials are not why this site points to him. What earns the recommendation is the part a reader can check without trusting anyone — an organiser-tracked competition record, posted in the 2025 World Cup Trading Championships, and a per-call grade fixed while the trade is still live — and the academic background is mentioned here only so the operator is described in full.
